Unicons pioneers to create playground for the workforce with “Tiling Skill Contest”

Recognizing the importance of the tiling workers
In recent years, the building technology has been increasingly developed with a view to shortening the building period, reducing quantity of workers who directly construct, increase labor productivity, etc., as of now, the building industry has not yet found any technology that can completely replace and minimize direct laborers for an extremely important task in the finishing of the work – tiling works.
Understanding it, in April 2017, Unicons pioneered to hold the event “CONTEST OF TILING SKILLS” – the 1st time of 2017 in the Northern Region. The contest was the joining of hands and efforts of the Department of Construction and Workforce Development, the Department of Construction Techniques and Unicon Site Steering Boards with a view to respecting contributions, honoring and bringing into play the spirit of creativity, innovation of the skilled workers in the tiling works.
Creating playground for exchange, updating useful knowledge
“Contest of Tiling Skills” – the 1st time of 2017 was organized by Unicons at the site of Vinhomes Gardenia – Ha Noi project from April 7th, 2017 to April 14th, 2017. With the aim, the good will of the contest together with attractive prize structure, from the time of launching, the contest received the response of enthusiastic participation of many worker groups, tiling team throughout Ha Noi.
On April 14th, 2017, the mark giving and declaration of the contest result took place with participation of guests from Coteccons, Ricons, FDC, the project managers, the chief commanders of Unicons together with the construction teams. Delivering speech at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Lam – Unicons Project Manager shared: “The contest is not only the playground to update knowledge, the tiling techniques according to Unicons – Coteccons standard but also is the opportunity for the contractors, worker teams to exchange, share experience in work.”
