UNICONS BREAKS GROUND ON SEMBCORP LOGISTICS PARK THUY NGUYEN

On the morning of June 12, 2024, at the VSIP Hai Phong Urban, Industrial and Services Project, the Unicons Site Management Board successfully held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Sembcorp Logistics Park Thuy Nguyen project. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the investor, the consulting and supervision unit, the design consulting unit, the Unicons leadership, and project partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.

The project is developed by Sembcorp Thuy Nguyen Infra Services Co., Ltd., a member of Sembcorp Industry Group (Singapore) – the management company of the renowned VSIP (Vietnam – Singapore) industrial park chain spanning many provinces and cities in Vietnam. Partnering with the investor on this project, Unicons is honored to assume the role of general contractor for construction and design.


Significantly, this project is being built to LEED standards of the U.S. Green Building Council, requiring the contractor to adhere to critical elements such as energy efficiency, water efficiency, indoor air quality, materials and resources, and more. This presents a challenge for the construction contractor but also an opportunity for Unicons to contribute to building a brighter future and realizing the mission of “Wherever Unicons goes, it makes it greener and better.”
