The Ceremony welcomed the attendance of the University’s Management Board, the Lecturers, the staff, the partners and over 4,000 new students of the K23 course. As a traditional activity of the university, the opening day in Van Lang University took place very excitingly with the imposing and emotional ceremony and cheerful and energetic festival.

In the cheerful atmosphere of the opening day, Mr. Nguyen Sy Cong – the General Director of Coteccons represented Unicons Investment Construction Company Limited to award 60 scholarships worth 600 million Dongs to the best new students, a student whose grade was the best in the university and the students whose grades were the best in each faculty. This should be surely the valuable support for them to start 4 years of interesting experiences at the new university.
At present, Unicons is the General Design and Build Contractor for the 3rd campus of Van Lang University in the land with the total area of nearly 5 ha in Go Vap District. In the first stage, Unicons builds Block A (13 storeys) and Block L (6 storeys) with the floor area of each block of over 18,000 m2. After 15 months of construction, classrooms, laboratories, workshop, painting studio, management zone, administrative zone, the faculties’ offices and library shall be shaped and put into operation. It is known that the students of the K23 course shall be the first generation who will study in this new campus.
