OCTOBER TRAINING WORKSHOP: MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCES OF JAPANESE ENTREPRISES

The workshop attracted the attendance of members of Unicons Board of Directors, project managers and heads of functional departments.
Mr. Kondo introduced a brief overview of the perspectives of the construction industry and other prerequisite factors to ensure sustainable development such as Quality, Safety, Cost, Time in the comparison between Japanese and Vietnamese firms. He also presented important issues in management tasks such as the role and style of managers, continuous improvement methods (philosophy of Kaizen, 5S principles, PCDA…), main points of project and quality management…
The workshop indeed provided fresh outlooks and useful knowledge on management experiences for Unicons middle managers. Hopefully in the future this knowledge will be applied appropriately to the management system at Unicons to deliver better performance.
