ICONIC SWAN LAKE TOWER OFFICIALLY TOPPED OUT, A MEGAPROJECT MARKED BY COLLECTIVE EFFORT OF LEADERSHIP BOARD

The Swan Lake Residence is considered the iconic project of Ecopark, featuring a construction scale of 2 basements, 3 podiums for commercial centers, and 5 high-rise towers ranging from 33 to 40 floors, encircling the Swan Lake Park for nearly 1km. The project covers an area of over 50 hectares.
Unicons took charge of constructing towers L1 and L2 in June 2021 – amidst the highly complex Covid pandemic situation, with periods of social distancing and disrupted supply chains and transportation. Despite the challenges, the leadership board made efforts to ensure project progress within 100 days for the construction of pile driving, bored piles, excavation, and completion of the 15,000m2 basement foundation with approximately 160,000m3 of excavated earth.

Reflecting on those challenging times, Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc – Project Director, shared: “During the pandemic, when everything seemed paralyzed, the project leadership board had to work on-site around the clock. There were even times when we voluntarily gave up office containers to accommodate construction workers as temporary housing to meet the original schedule.
As the Project Director, I see my role as akin to a team captain on the football field. I must have a “warm heart” and a “cool head,” ready to “shield” my teammates at any time. I must be solid support so that they can trust and fight, overcoming all difficulties to bring our “spiritual child” to fruition.”

In the coming time, the leadership board will continue to focus on completing tasks to deliver a quality, safe, and timely product.
