GO! BAC LIEU SHOPPING MALL PROJECT TOPS OUT AHEAD OF SCHEDULE

On the afternoon of May 24, 2024, a topping-out ceremony was held for Zone 4, the final section of the GO! Bac Lieu Shopping Mall project, officially marking a significant milestone towards the project’s completion. The ceremony was conducted with the participation of representatives from the investor, supervisory consultants, subcontractors, and Unicons’ project management team.

The GO! Bac Lieu Shopping Mall project is part of the GO! shopping mall chain by Central Retail Vietnam, one of the leading retail groups in Vietnam. This project signifies the first collaboration between the investor, Central Retail Vietnam, and the general contractor, Unicons. In response to this trust, Unicons has consistently strived to deliver optimal construction solutions, ensuring safety and quality throughout the construction process.

Mr. Nguyen Bao Toan, the project manager, shared, “Central Retail is a large corporation, having developed a chain of shopping malls not only in Vietnam but also in neighboring countries. Therefore, the contractor is required to meet stringent standards to ensure uniform quality across all malls. Our project management team has been highly focused on every task, continuously improving, and as a result, the project topped out 8 days ahead of schedule. The team is very excited to continue completing the remaining tasks and bring the project to fruition.”

Following the topping-out ceremony, the Unicons project management team will proceed with the completion of the ceiling system, indoor MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, infrastructure, and the surrounding parking lot. The project is expected to be operational by October 2024, promising to provide a world-class shopping and entertainment space for the residents of Bac Lieu and the surrounding areas.
