The program has received vigorous responses from everyone since its inception. Nearly 200 Coteccons – Unicons staff members of management levels through departments/sites across the country registered to donate their blood.
To ensure safety, the festival was carried out in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Health and the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. Accordingly, volunteers were divided into small groups donating their blood at certain time frames and ensuring the safe distance during blood donation process. Volunteers must wear a mask, wash their hands with antiseptic solution, check for body temperature and answer questions about their health status.
Humanitarian blood donation is an annual activity of Coteccons – Unicons which demonstrates the humanitarian spirit and humanity, at the same time enhances the responsibility sense of all staff members toward the community. Every blood drop collected will count in the cure for patients during the year-end peak months.
