Mr. Nguyen Sy Cong welcomed all students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology to Unicons and wished them would have unforgettable experiences in the leading professional working environment of the construction sector in Vietnam. Especially, to equip the interns with full information, skills and confidence in the coming internship, he said that Unicons had prepared a special integration training course with various interesting and practical topics.
“Good communication is the key to 85% success in work”
Realizing communication skills are one of big challenges the engineering students must overcome when they enter the real working environment, Unicons provided the interns with tutorial topics “Effective communication with colleagues – partners”. Mr. Nguyen Tien Dong, Manager of Unicons’ Department of Human Resources shared key secrets in communications with various subjects on site. In the open and intimate atmosphere, the students also discussed actively and step by step integrated in the spirit of sincere sharing in Unicons.
“When safety is the culture, is the core value”
Despite the 2-month internship, 65 students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology were considered by Unicons as its real members. Dissemination about safety culture to absolutely ensure safety for all individuals is the luggage which Unicons prepared for the interns. Mr. Nguyen The Kim Luan, the Safety Department’s representative shared about the Safety Culture, one of the core values which each personnel of Unicons always took with himself. Through the comments, the students promptly perceived the importance of the safety at Unicons.
Certainly, after the integration training, the students understood about Unicons culture more clearly to have an internship with effectiveness, quality and many experiences.
Internship program is one of comprehensive cooperative activities which Unicons – Coteccons Group signed with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Accordingly, the eligible students shall be arranged to carry out internship in the sites of the Group within 2 months. They not only are instructed by Unicons experienced engineers about technical issues, construction methods but also experience activities as a real member of the Steering Board. After the internship, all students will have opportunity to be employed by Coteccons Group in the future.
