Continuing the “Our House” project within the activities of ESG Coteccons – Unicons, on September 28th, the Steering Committee of Wink Tuy Hoa officially completed the renovation of the “People’s Committee House in Ward 7, Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen” amidst the overwhelming joy of all the local residents.
“Our House” is a social project initiated by the ESG Coteccons – Unicons Subcommittee since early August 2023 with the desire not only to change the urban landscape but also to focus on the local community, demonstrating a sense of responsibility towards the community and society, which Coteccons – Unicons always strives for sustainable development. Within the framework of the “Our House” project, the Steering Committee of Coteccons – Unicons’ projects will directly survey local projects to support painting and renovation, mobilizing its team to directly transform the appearance of local projects.
Leading the way in the “Our House 2023” project at Unicons is the Steering Committee Wink Tuy Hoa, with the mission of transforming the appearance of the People’s Committee House in Ward 7, Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen. The People’s Committee House is located in a labor residential area and is quite old, having not been renovated for over 5 years, occasionally showing patches of peeling paint on the walls.
The Steering Committee Wink Tuy Hoa team embarked on the task of renovating the People’s Committee House on Ba Trieu Street with 3 bags of plaster inside the house, 3 bags of plaster outside the house, 2 buckets of primer paint inside, 2 buckets of primer paint outside, 2 buckets of topcoat paint inside, and 2 buckets of topcoat paint outside. In just 5 days of construction, the team has given the People’s Committee House in Ward 7 a new look.

Thao Chan, the project secretary of Wink Tuy Hoa, shared: “Ba Trieu Street is mainly inhabited by poor laborers, so when they see a sponsoring unit for painting and renovation, the residents are very happy and warmly welcome the team. They provide water for the workers and offer snacks throughout the day.”
As one of the personnel directly involved in implementation and supervision, Huynh Quang Tri – HSES supervisor at Wink Tuy Hoa, shared: “This program truly holds great spiritual significance. We feel that we are doing something meaningful for society, albeit small, it contributes to the beauty of the country. Moreover, we have the opportunity to experience and learn more about the people and culture in the places where ‘Our House’ sets foot. Hopefully, the company will organize more programs like this for us to contribute our enthusiasm. Life is 60 years long, I’m already 30 this year, with another 30 years ahead to fully devote myself so that life passes without regrets.”
Ms Thuc, the former Secretary of the Party Committee and currently the retired cadre managing Ba Trieu residential area, shared: “With over 1,500 residents living in this area, mostly laborers with unstable economic conditions and many difficulties in life. The attention from Unicons has provided us with a neat and fresh community house, which has excited all the residents. Especially, every member of Wink Tuy Hoa carries a high sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, and skillfulness, demonstrating the professionalism of a large company, perfectly fitting the saying ‘wherever you go, make it beautiful’.”
With this highly meaningful activity, Mr Ha Bich Son – Chairman of Ward 7 People’s Committee, Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen, also awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Steering Committee of Wink Tuy Hoa to express gratitude for their contributions.
