The opening took place with the participation of representatives of Lao Government, the Management Board of Mascot, Main Contractor – Unicons Corporation, and other distinguished delegations.

Mascot factory has the construction area of 9,000 square meters, located in Vita-Park Industrial Park, which is 22 kilometers away from Vientian and connected to existing factories in Vietnam. When this factory is put into operation, the additional capacity can be expanded up to five-fold and it will create jobs for 800 local laborers.

Unicons is the Main Contractor of Mascot Factory, which is executed from June to December 2013. Although enduring a number of challenges such as language barrier, culture difference, tight schedule, the Site Management Board of Unicons has tried their bes to overcome all difficuties to ensure quality, safety, and handed over the factory as required by the Owner.
Ribbon-cutting Ceremony
This is the second project that Unicons has executed for Mascot, after the factory in Hai Duong Province, Vietnam completed in 2008.
